Welcome to Transients Magazine
What is Transients Magazine?
Transients is a new literary magazine asking what home is and what it means to be away from home.
It is made for movement, as an experience, a concept, a fear and a goal and a desire.
It is made for people who are not rooted, as such, and for whom this is a way of life.
It is made for writing which is indefinable and indefinite.
It is made for ideas which are flexible, formless, and fluid.
It is for everything in the world which is disconnected and connected in the most unpredictable and ever-changing ways.
It is made for us to learn that permanence has no bearing on the value of an idea.
It is made for impermanence, because all the best things in life are transitory, as you will soon discover, if you haven’t already.
We welcome fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, visual art, recipes, translations, travel journals, reflections, advice, photo essays, and most any other format that helps tell the story and experience of transience.
